“ Hi all the boozers and party lovers, I would to tell you about the place in Bangalore which you will cherish. Its tavern at the inn located at Museum road, Bangalore. I was regularly visitor to purple haze, koramangala. Last Saturday night I surfed hungryzone.com in search of any new good pubs cum restaurant in Bangalore. They recommended me Tavern at In. My first expression was not good since it ceiling was too low towards tavern and I make up my mind to leave the place as early as I finishes my drinks, I entered at that time, there was not so much rush there ,it was early evening. I ordered kingfisher beer and light up the cigarette (but in smoking area). Slowly I indulged in the rock music of late 80 or 90’s. One thing I really liked in this place is the taste of music. Slowly I feel the fact why this place is recommend to me by hungryzone.com, the crowd started rushing in. The music started becoming loud and I started to enjoy more. Few people have come for birthday celebration and Tavern treated them really well. When I am sitting alone watching the most happening place in Bangalore, few people joined me for drinks and we started talking about the business. They were well educated and works for blue chip companies in Bangalore. The music and beer is showering the magic of partying to all of us. Some started singing at Tavern, some started vibes accordingly. I went to lots of pubs in Bangalore, but this one is really among the top ratings. The lights are golden dim, with few LCD mounted on the wall ,its will be a life time experience if you go Tavern during ipl season. For food I can give a 3 star rating to this place, the French fries tasted heaven with beer, people who are not very found of beer can order spitfire draught beer, its very good. But for smoking you have to go in special smoking area (smoking is banned in public place) The rest of the booze - from the Mohitos to the Tequilas, the Long Island Ice teas to a Vodka neat are swell, and without a doubt, it's places like this that makes Bangalore proud to be the pub city of India. The snacks available are good - but hold on, they're just snacks, don't you be coming to a pub and hoping to have a proper meal, coz if that's the case, you're already high (even before the booze has hit you). Regarding the service provided at tavern I can say that it is pretty good and decent. The waiters respond to your order quickly and has good etiquettes of serving. Even this was my first experience here the their treatment was impressive. Some of the regular customers know waiters by there name and it will not be offence to tell that, they are getting special attention at the crowded night of Saturday. Tavern, Bangalore is infectious place and will catch you. Even I decided to do leave the place early but I am the few last people to leave this place at the midnight. Go and visit this place for a nice remembering time. Price of drinks: same to the standards of Bangalore Location: 1st floor ,museum road ,Bangalore My ratings: 4 out of five Service time: good 4.5/5 Ambience: Attracting, indulging, parting GO AHEAD AND HAVE A REAL PARTYING EXPERIENCE AT TAVERN,BANGALORE ”

“ The Tavern is located on the first floor of Museum Inn. You have to
take the stairs located next to the elevator. Tall humans, mind your
head as the ceiling in the passage and within the pub is low.

As soon as you enter, the first thing you see is the bar counter.
The lighting is golden dim. There are a few LCD televisions mounted on
the wall, usually showing sports. Cozy sofas good enough for 6 people
are attached to wall, kinda giving you a private space. There is also
an upper deck away from the brouhaha. We were seated at the tables
midway from the bar counter and the sofas. These tables are unique in
that the high chairs and table are rigged to the floor and give you a
unique experience.

The crowd is decent and mature, minding their own business and of
course, a glance here and there! I read somewhere that they serve
spitfire beer, but the waiter had no idea what it was. So we settled
for KF pitcher. And to nibble, we ordered a peanut masala, French Fries
(the best I have ever had in my life), and a lamb starter. By 9 PM, the
atmosphere became lively and the pub was filled to its brim. So much so
that the waiter could give us two spoons for the peanut masala when
were four of us. He said they have only 50 spoons and there are more
than 100 people in the pub now.

Anyways, we were enjoying the football match with rock music from the nineties in the background.

I will be definitely going back here to enjoy the beer with french
fries. Prices are on the upper bracket, (Pitcher of beer is Rs.450, a
lamb starter is Rs.300).

Definitely worth a visit for anyone who drinks! ”
