If you are looking for localized Chinese food, please go else where. But if you better authentic chinese food with some Indonesian, Malaysian and Thai dishes thrown, this is definately THE place.
Place is clean with good ambience. Waiter was responsive and washroom is clean. ”

I am surprised to see some of the negative reviews regarding this place's ambience and location, personally i have only taken parcel or ordered home deliveries, so can't comment on the ambience, however the food quality is really good, better than magnolia i would say. Also, the manager is soft spoken and well mannered, gives nice suggestions about what shall taste good with what. Even the deliveries have been on time. Price could be a little bit on the higher side, but the quantity is good too. It's definitely more than a average chinese restaurant. ”

Hi ! WE ordered a plate of prawn pepper from here along with a chicken something and some rice, a plate of noodles and some veggies. Our bill was 1550 bucks. There were exactly to count 6 pieces of small prawns in a dish costing 220, the chicken had more capsicum than chicken and the rice was so inferior it was sticky and wet. Just not worth the money. Horrible experience : will never recommend or go back ”

Hot Soup was all that we could sit through before crashing the bed. and its when we decided to visit Sichuan. Near to our home, plus never tried before. We asked the owner (btw the only place where I saw the owner talking, interacting plus having some knowledge of nuances of Chinese Thai food) for some suggestions and he (Ram) suggested basil soup. Nothing short of awesome. We felt as if all our tiredness went with the soup. We decided to sit more and ordered some more food. Sizzling tofu, for the first time didn’t taste like the bland tofu. Tossed chilly potatoes in garlic sauce was great and so were the noodles. Light on the stomach and reasonably priced. Far better than the fake Chinese joints spread all over in koramangala. Don’t miss this place. Looks small but can handle gr8 crowd on the first floor. Quality, taste and service excellently personified. I am visiting again.

We were having a homestay for weekend and didnt want to cook anything. Had heard abt Sichuan starting next door. So we ordered a takeaway. Very sloppy food. They claim to be authentic... but it was some gooey mess that was delivered to us.

I recently ate at the Sichuan restaurant and must admit that the experience was completely different. It's not your usual Chinese restaurant that whips up a Chinese dish to suit Indian palettes. The chef knows his beans very well and presents you with an authentic Chinese dining experience, with most of the food having its origin from the Sichuan province in China (now you know why the restaurant is called Sichuan). Sichuan is known for its chillies and spices. So, if you are not the adventurous kind, kindly ask the staff to go slow on the spices. Though the restaurant does not serve liquor, they kind of make up by serving you some exotic mocktails. Quench your thirst with the mocktails while waiting for your food order to arrive.
The decor is simple and yet has a distinguish Chinese touch to it, with Chinese latterns and paintings adorning the walls. The staff are efficient and courteous. Since food is prepared against your order, don't expect a McDonald's kind of turnaround time where your burger is ready even before you finish spelling McDonalds. And, dining at the Sichuan does not burn a hole in your pocket. Given the quality of food and service they deliver, the Sichuan is an absolute value for money restaurant.
