munish wrote : Bad Experiance: “The most frustating thing at Luo Han is these people take a lot of time in preperation sometimes might be an hour for just serving your starters so imagin about main course.
Above that the preperation is also below average, preperation for thai and indonasian food is pathetic and among chinese too we can just have some noodles, fried rice or at the most manchuraians (again at risk). ”
avinash wrote : Poor Food & Service: “Went here after reading some good reviews instead had a bad experience.
Odered momos that arrived cold and when I complained the lady in charge told me it was the waiters mistake and was suprisingly rude about it, highly irritated that I had complained. Next came soup that was odly flavoured it was supposed to be clear instead was brown. The main course was sligthly better. Service was extremely slow they took more than an hour to dish out these 3 dishes. ”

U get offbeat stuff , besides the quintessential chinese/thai... Veggie only though, which is an oddity considering its a chinese deli after all... ”

nand wrote : Love this place: “Amazing place for Chinese/Thai food (except Thai Red/Green/Yellow curry). Almost everything that we have ordered here (we used to visit this place at least twice a month when we lived in Bangalore) oozes a distinct flavor and the menu has a lot of variety. The food is not expensive. Almost everyone that I've taken to this place like it and are addicted to it. The service is not very good when the place gets full. ”

Though i am non-veg we love this place for their variety, the awsesome taste and a good amount of quantity. Service is extremely good too and so is the ambience. More than worth the price you get it here.

rits wrote : Good chinese vegetarian food: “This restaurant in HSR Layout is probably the only vegetarian Chinese restaurant in Bangalore. The food is good and there is a wide choice available, something which is usually missing at other Chinese restaurants.
My parents (pure vegetarians) are averse to eating Chinese food at restaurants, Luo Han is the only place where they can eat in peace (without worrying that pork and chicken might be cooked in the same container) :)
A must try for pure vegetarian folks out there.. ”
rao wrote : Review of Luo Han: “One of the good things about Luo Han is that fact that it is fully vegetarian. The point to note is that in the menu, they specifically say "vegetarian oyester sauce". Not so sure what they mean with that, but at least they understand oyester sauce is non vegetarian.
Food does not burn a hole into your pocket at all. You will not feel "wallet challenged" if you want to try a couple of starters.
Ambience leaves a lot to be desired. Service can be improved. We had to ask for a Hot Garlic sauce to go with the Momos.
Veg Satay turned out to be a couple of vegetables deepfried in oil till such time the vegetables lost any of the flavours they had.
I had never had a Thai Red Curry Rice as served in this restaurant. It turned out almost like a peppery chinese fried rice. No fragrance of any of the ingredients that make it to a typically thai dish.
Overall a very average fare. ”
