Pasta, pizza, pure veg:
“ I'm no vegetarian and though I do appreciate the ethical and health reasons for being one, I find it quite hard to eat in all-vegetarian restaurants - if they happen to be anything other than South Indian. So, a vegetarian Chinese meal is not an appealing prospect. Neither is Italian vegetarian. Which is why I was surprised by how much I enjoyed my meal at Little Italy, which is an all-veg brand. The popular starter here is the crostini and toppings range from simple tomato and garlic, to grilled aubergine and artichokes. This part of the menu combines simplicity with good ingredients and works very well. Little Italy, being a vegetarian paradise, also serves a host of salads and soups, so choices for healthy eating abound. Then, of course, there's a very long list of pizzas with every sort of topping combo you can conjure up. And not a slice of pepperoni in sight! The Little Italy pizzas emerge from a wood-fired oven and are done just right - thin, crisp, full of flavour. I loved the pizza margherita. The pasta menu here is also very long, but it's more a case of variations on the same themes. There are cream sauce pastas and tomato sauce ones and different veggies and herbs in each. What I had though was the crespelle, a savoury crepe stuffed, drizzled with sauce and grilled. Nice and filling. Little Italy also has a small Mexican selection, with nachos, tacos, burritos. The desserts, for me, were the not so refined part of this meal. It's a goodlooking restaurant with an al fresco area. If you want vegetarian and Italian, then Little Italy fits the bill. As for your bill, be prepared to pay about Rs 1200 for a meal for two. ”

“ Little italy is the beautiful restaurant located in koramangla behind SKC mall, which is diagonally opposite to the forum on the diary circle road. i have eaten at little italy indiranagar and enjoyed the food in the past. Upon my friend's suggestion we visited little italy on sunday night for dinner. They had valet parking so we didn't have any stress about parking. Being a non-veggie, i wasn't too excited but for my friend's sake thought why not give it a try. I used to reserve the table everytime i go in any restaurant but this time we had not done a reservation not expecting the place to be full. Not only was the place full but also there was some waiting. The staff at little italy were very courteous and they promised us a seating at he earliest. We got a place after 15 minutes of waiting ( that was not too bad).

When we entered the place, the ambiance was so calm, clean and soothing. The waiting area was very nice. The staff in little italy explained that there was a place to sit outside as well as inside the AC restaurant. But we got the inside table. It was also very good it had dim light all arround. The hospitality of the management was also major factor in making us feel at home. The way how the staff came forward and enquired about everything was also very nice to see.

Even though i am a hard core non-vegeterian but still i am a huge fan of most vegetables in the same time and artichokes and fava beans are certainly two of my favorites. If i am in the world of italian vegees than i would surely expect good italian vege food. So i went for Antipasto Del Conte something (i forgot the exact name :P) which was with sun-dried tomatoes, artichokes, onion, mushroom and mixed vegetables in olive oil and that was served with breads. It was too good, was just melting in my mouth. And all of us was sharing, we also ordered some more garlic bread to go with it. We were wondering what could be the best drinks for veggee food, and then we chose to have some vodka. But secrectly in my opinion non-veg goes well with vodka :P.

Little italy in koramangla serves a wide variety of thin crust italian pizzas, pastas, lasagne, bolognose and mexican fare. There are plenty of choice, i wasn't expecting that good veggie spread in outlet but i was wrong actually. If i am in best italian restaurant then i would ofcourse go for the best pizza so did we. Italian cooking is impossible without herbs, one cannot imagine tomato sauce without basil, so to go for the italian taste we orderd obviously veggie pizzas with herbs, tomatoes, basil olives and all. We ordered two pizzaz and one bolognese. The bolognese was filled with soy instead of meat ( sound interesting?). All the food was really really good.

Though we all were so full, as always we will have to have some extra space for yummy dessert. My freinds ordered the chocolate bomb and i went for my all time favorite tiramisu. This was like a home made italian classic sponge cake which was soaked in rum and coffee with custard, vanilla cream, sprinkled with light chocolate powder and served cold. It was like damn good ( my mouth is watering as i am writing).

Overall little italy in koramangla was the very good experience. As its ambience, food and service was really great. I was in europe last year and had visited many italian restaurants over there. And I can proudly say that little italy in koramangla is as good as they were. Thank you so much for helping us making our evening great!

All those who loves italian food and havn't been in little italy yet, you are missing so much in banglore. Go there once. Because once is going to be enough, the next time you won't have to think, you will automatically get drawn towards little italy.......:)) ”

“ Hi Hungryzone users, my name is Aditya, I am a big foodie and a pakka non-vegetarian, as long as I am eating chicken I am happy and healthy too. But peer pressure, friends ka pressure took me to visit a restaurant named Little Italy. I was going to Little Italy for the first time, never in my life I have tasted any Italian food, apart from pizzas and pastas (which my mom prepares at home)

Though I have heard a lot of the Italian Cuisines from my friends like cannelloni, risottos but never actually tasted them. So the day came, it was Saturday and the huge crowd was naturally expected to be present at Little Italy, Indiranagar. So we thought of going to the koramangala branch of the Little Italy. Koramangala Branch of the Little Italy was also near to our place where we stay. So as usual the table for 6 people was booked through hungryzone and we landed up in Little Italy, which was a much more green environment. The view behind the restaurant added more green tinch to Little Italy, Koramangala Branch.

The menu included a lot more, risottos, lasagne, Ravioli, Bruschetta etc. That day at Little Italy I came to know from the manager that there are more than 150 types of pizzas served in India. And out of those 150 the best 30 to 40 are served in Little Italy, Koramangala. Good , great I said to myself. The only thing I know about Italian food is pizza and pasta. The menu looked jam packed and the food which I was really not sure which one to order. So I told my friend to order for me. They ordered risottos, Ravioli, Bruschetta, lazzania, Pasta Barberesca and for me a JAIN PIZZA.

Ambience at Little Italy was amazing. Little Italy, koramangala has a multi level seating arrangement, they have a lounge too. But we sat on the top floor where they serve liquor. We ordered for our wine till the time starters came. And we started with the food and the wine. Man the food was good with a lot of cheese in it. I love cheese. I could never imagine that I was really eating the Italian food and that too pure vegetarian. My friends started pulling my leg in between. Telling What magga. You eating Veg…and that too Italiano.. Great…what I could do. I religiously concentrated my part and called the waiter for the dessert. We ordered Tiramisu. This was a sponge cake soaked in rum and coffee with vanilla cream custard, sprinkled with chocolate powder and served cold as suggested by my friend. Without wasting any time we ordered that. It was yummy. We were like so full.

The whole experience was worth paying for at Little Italy, Koramangala. Everything at Little Italy, starting from the ambience, service, food and the price to some extent was cool. We really enjoyed that day. And now it is customary for all of us to go to Little Italy, Koramangala once in atleast 10 days.

GO VEGGIES!!! GO ITALIANO TO LITTLE ITALY, KORAMANGALA  ”

“ I have been a BIG fan of Little Italy since a few years now, and i religiously visit the place almost every quarter... couple evenings i went there and the experience was just PATHETIC! we had been there on a Tuesday evening, being a weekday there was not too much crowd so i expected a decent service (BIG MISTAKE) Ther service was down right bad, the bearers didnt know what they were doing and kept running around in circles from the kitchen to the tables over and over. the food quality was completely unpalpable... guess the chef now thinks that if you add loads of mozzerella cheese in any food it turns into Italian Khana.... We had ordered Lasagna and Enchiladas and both the dishes were just stuffed with cheese... there was no other taste other than cheese in the food. the taste was either too sweet or too spicy, nothing like the authentic italian food... I for sure am not going back here ever again!  ”

“ The fact that I'm not a vegetarian, has not stopped me from recommending Little Italy Koramangala to others. Its pure veg, but it can beat any Italian non-veg restaurant hands down. Love the food and their b-day specials. The food is expensive, the alcohol is even dearer. But then its worth visiting for special occasions. You wont be disappointed.  ”

“ Good veg Italian food. Good service.

The view into the park behind the restaurant makes the whole place very "green".

I love the Choc Bomb :)

My wife liked the Ravioli, and the Bruschetta was good too, although a tad heavy on the olive oil.

Would certainly go again!

And best part compared to Little Italy Indranagar? This place was EMPTY for Sat lunch! :)

Bad part is parking, small side-lane behind SKC does not really afford much parking space.
So go forth and fill up! ”
