But the Spare ribs was one big mistake... Think they think spare ribs is making some sort of manchurian. Was pathetic!!!
Chung wah: At least go google up and see a proper recipe for Spare ribs which is something delicious actually and out of which you have made a thorough mess..
And oh ya!! when its named "Spare" ribs, it doesnt mean that you put all the spare white fat of the pork for it.. For the sake of some decency show some respect for the cuisine

I live five minutes walking from the restaurant but after 45 minutes and three phone calls the 'delivery' boy returned to the restaurant and claimed my address was too difficult to find. The first and only time any restaurant has been unable to deliver. The restaurant seemed completely indifferent and suggested if I wanted my food I could come to the main road and pick it up- at 9pm! ”
deep wrote : Worst Food and bad service: “If u think of Chinese, pls dnt evn thnk of Chung WAh. Its the worst of all the chinese food i have ever had.
Vegetables were not fresh enough, all dry n not cut in a proper manner.
Dishes marked as spicy had almost no salt and not spicy AT ALL.
The staff was not trained well to interact with the guests.
Also verry shady place. the crowd also wasnt good at all.
I shall never ever go back there evn if i starve. ”

And hence I could enjoy the hot soup in that chilly night. The food is very nice and service is good as well. One of the 'good' Chinese restaurants in the city! ”

I would say the Chung Wah outlet on MG Road (Near the Symphony theatre which is now Fame Cinemas) is much better. Ambience is Ok. But the food leaves you a bit disappointed. Parking is another hassle here, especially if you are on a 4 wheeler. ”
anto wrote : The Worst service ever: “I and my wife went to this restaurant on Friday evening. Restaurant looked fine at first, but we did not know it was going to ruin our evening. They took the order and started serving it. I was about to eat(took the spoon already) my fried rice, one server came & dragged out my plate saying that they had served veg fried rice instead of chicken fried rice. First of all, they should have asked me before taking my plate and should have placed the ordered food. I was really surprised at the bad bad service and continued my eating. Finally, when we were having our desert, they kept the bill, again, without asking us. Once we finished the desert, immediately, that stupid server came and told that, there are customers waiting. I did not believe what did he say..Who would kick their customers out once they are done with food..just because there are other customers waiting..I can't believe it ..I can't believe it..Anyway, I did not want to make a scene there, so I left after raising my voice little bit...Will never go near to Chung Wah..Ahhh..horrible experience completely ruined my evening. ”

One thing that they need to improve is their offering of alcoholic beverages and add some variety to the same. ”
anand basu wrote : Good Indian chinese: “I heard from my Chinese friends that the Chinese food available here is completely different from what they have in China. They say that the Chinese available here is much more spicy.
Anyway, whatever it is, Chung Wah’s food is affordable and will continue to scintillate your taste-buds in the beginning. But, soon you will get bored of the food, as they use the same sauce for every dish they make.
The same can’t be said about the starters though. I tried the chicken Dragon roll and I liked it.
The quantity of food is enough to serve at least two. Average cost for two people comes around Rs 300. Service is quick, but on weekends you may have to wait longer.
